Raised between the hectic metropolis of London and the rural serenity of southern French village Les Mayons, London singer and composer Zoey Lily can denote her creative instinct to a multicultural and multilingual upbringing. One that has included international tours with her live music agent father (Joss Stone, Van Morrison) and the artistic influence of her mother, a former Parisian fashion designer.
At age 13, Zoey first delved into creative expression when she began playing piano and it was there she made her first wide-eyed forays into songwriting. Later, at age 17, she found herself drawn to her father’s acoustic Martin guitar, the instrument which she still writes most of her songs with today.
Taking cues from a wide-range of essential artists, including Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean Zoey Lily has set out to become a highly independent and original songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer and co-producer. Through the monthly releases of her previous singles like ‘More’, ‘Last Goodbye’ and ‘Not There’, Zoey has independantly racked up over 800'000 streams on Spotify within the last few months and had support from BBC Introducing London, TMRW magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, BuzzFeed, Deezer UK and Brandy Melville.
